Last night, I watched the premiere episode of One Punk Under God, a documentary about Jay Bakker, the punky prodigal son of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. The show is running on the Sundance Channel on cable and also available on the iTunes Store. The premiere episode is currently FREE for download.
Jay Bakker and his Revolution Church turns old-time religion upside-down and makes it politically and culturally relevant to a modern, hip, youthful audience. Even if his vision of the Christian faith isn't your cup of tea, the documentary should be interesting.
