The official photos from the ITP 30th Anniversary Gala are now online! The Gala back in October celebrated 30 years of the Interactive Telecommunicationas Program at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and raised money for the Red Burns Scholarship fund. It was sort of like high school prom all over again, except for everybody was a nerd! 😉

More photos and video on the official ITP30 documentation site. And here are the photos that I took on Flickr.
This weekend was the 30th anniversary celebration of ITP.
On Saturday, ITP tech culture maven and celebrity commentator Clay Shirky gave a talk about his experiences at ITP. Then we had ITP Pecha Kucha, for which I delivered a provocative design manifesto, “It’s Cool To Be Flat,” developed with HEPNOVA collaborator Nicholas DiBiase. My slides are below, hopefully the video will be released soon.
In the evening, we headed over to the ITP 30 Gala at Frank Gehry-designed IAC building. It was an awesome celebration. I got a little teary-eyed when Red gave her speech. My photos from the evening are on Flickr.
