I've driven for many many years and the "Bill of Rights" is just common sense to me (that includes the drivers rights). The cab business is a very corrupt and monopolistic business encouraged that way by city rules & regulations. If you don't care or want to know then... nothing will change. (The two "incidents" you mentioned would never have happened in my cab. Even though I'm only allowed to carry the amount of people that I have seatbelts for... drivers need to use common sense in a situation like you described and there are very few reasons to ever yell at a customer).
