Last night, I downloaded the new Björk single, Earth Intruders from iTunes. Björk is back, and she’s brought the beats and the balls with her. Earth Intruders is brutal, violent, tribal-meets-electronica, with political overtones and eerily catchy. It reminds me a bit of M.I.A., but the stamp of Björk as an auteur is clearly there, continuing to push boundaries and redefining genres.
You must check it out. This track has restored my faith in music.

You know what’s funny, is that when I saw this promo shot, I said “HEY! that elf hag is biting our aesthetic!” but then I was like “oh wait- — we’ve been biting her for like fifteen years.”
Sobering.
